My name is Anaya, and I am a rising 8th grader from New Jersey with a passion for music that has shaped a lot of my life. I have been singing ever since I can remember, and over the years, I have learned to play the guitar and piano aswell. For the past four years, I have been the lead singer of a band, an experience that has been significant in my growth as a performer and musician. My love for singing has also led me to participate in Ranney School's musicals, including "The Little Mermaid" and "Raise Your Voice!"
When I'm not on stage, I enjoy traveling and listening to music; I especially enjoy artists like Ariana Grande and Olivia Rodrigo. I also have a strong interest in math and science, which led to me being selected for the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY) program. Over the past two years, I've taken courses in forensic science and chemistry through this program.
Above all, through Harmini, I aim to share my love of music with younger kids and inspire them to pursue their musical interests.
